Vijay Raj Singh joined the Department in 2005. He obtained his M.Sc. degree at the University of Allahabad,Allahabd. Subsequently he carried out M.Tech at the Indian Institute of Technology kanpur.

I am an experimental Condensed Matter physicist and well as materials Scientist , My chief interest lies in physics of Semiconductors, and Electronic and Photonic Materials suitable for device applications. Currently,I am working on Multiferroic Materials, and their applications in data storage device and spintronic.

I am a member of the MRS Singapore and Mess committee of Hall -4 ; IIT Kanpur ( India). I also take deep interest in designing Physics Laboratories to offset the neglect of experiment in traditional teaching of physics.
